Aberhyddnant Farm Holiday Cottages

Holiday Cottages on an Organic Farm

Y Bythynnod

The cottages have been sympathetically converted from existing farm buildings of stone and slate.

At one time Nyth y Wennol (sleeping six plus two infants) would have been a hive of activity as this was the old dairy where butter and cheese were made for home use and for sale.  Bryniau Pell (sleeping four plus two infants) has been converted from a cart shed and hay loft - traditionally an ideal place for the farm lads to court their true loves.

Both cottages boast well equipped kitchens with with a full sized electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. There is a shared utility/boot room with washing machines and tumble drier (washing lines in the garden).  The living rooms have Tv with Sky Freeview, DVD player, and a CD/radio.

Each cottage has a collection of books, dvd's, cd's and board games and there is a shared playroom with table football together with a variety of other toys.

Children are very welcome with cots, fireguards, stair gates and high chairs in each cottage.

Well behaved pets by arrangement but sadly no dogs during the lambing periods - for obvious reasons. If you would like to borrow a dog, Trixie our sheepdog is happy to show you around and we often have visiting hound puppies who just love to play.

There are pretty gardens with tables and chairs and Bar-B-Q's.  For children there is a shared, enclosed play area with a variety of equipment as well as various animals close by.

The cottages may be booked individually or together for groups or larger families.

For group accommodation and larger parties we also offer Y Beudy as an extension to the cottages. This gives you added space and reception area with plenty of seating and tables.
